Email frustration

Despite following the instructions several times I have not been able to remove an email address from my PayPal account. The help "button" is sending me around in circles. Any ideas?

Go and click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > click on the + and ''add'' another/new email address > verify it > go back and click on ''update'' and tick the box underneath that says ''make primary'' > then you should get the remove option by the old now longer primary email. You can remove that one or leave it on as you can have up to 8 email addresses on the one paypal account.

I've done all that.

Ive added my new email address.

Ive verified it.

Im not getting the option to remove the old one.

Next to the new one there's the trash symbol.

Grrrr!

Yes Ive gone through all the steps several times. Next to my new email is the trash symbol and the edit option. If I click on edit it asks if I want to make it my primary, I tick yes but nothing happens.

If I click on the old email address it just asks if I want to add a new email.

Try another browser, clear cookies etc.
