Hi Can anybody help me? I am new to ebay and PayPal. I ordered a few things last week and thought I was paying directly from my bank account, however it seems I am paying for them through an Echeque?? Why didn't it just go straight out of my account? I have transferred some money from my account into PayPal but it is not using that?? I have emailed the companies to apologise for the delay but am feeling frustrated because these items are only 99p or a couple of pounds. My PayPal account says payment pending until 15th July. My bank account states the payments went out 4 days ago!! The ebay account shows uncleared funds??? I'm totally confused?? Where's my money gone??? If on the 15th July this money shows up will it be in my PayPal account for me to forward on to the companies or does paypal automatically pay them for me??? Please help Thank you in anticipation xx

When you pay a seller it is never instant. Paypal CREDIT the seller for you and then take the wait for the funds to transfer to reimburse themselves.
HOWEVER they only do that if the buyer has a back up debit or credit card linked to their paypal account as well.
If you ONLY have a bank account then payments will go as an echeque and you have to wait for it to clear through to the seller.
Add a back up card or if you have a card make sure it is not out of date and future payments should be instant.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
