Cannot complete payments & cannot add another bank card

Hello everyone!

My first question concerns completing payment requests through websites. Whenever I try to purchase something online, I get the message that the request can't be completed at this time, and that's the end of it. It's happened on at least 10 websites now. One suggestion I found online said I had to wait a little, so that maybe it would work at a later time. This has been going on for about half a year now. I have used my account before, and it's always worked for me. I check my information, and it's still up to date. Bank account, address, phone number, everything.

My second question relates to verifying another bank card. I've already coupled one bank card, which I've succesfully used in the past. When I want to add another one, I need to wait for the PayPal deposits to be made to that bank account. The desposits were never made. The first time I waited for several months (truth be told I forgot I even tried to add the new card after a while). When I saw, I deleted the new card from the confirmation queue and added it again. The deposits did not come this time either. This is was about 2 months ago now.

Any ideas?

Hello GerbenDekker! Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal UK Community! I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulty making a payment. If you are still unable to complete the payment, it sounds like our internal system might be also blocking the payment for security reasons. You can read more about this here https://goo.gl/CiKYMj. In relation the bank card issue, I recommend calling your bank provider so they can review your bank statement in detail. If they are unable to locate the small deposits, you could also submit a copy of your bank statement (including your name and bank details) via www.paypal.co.uk/eucomplaint. Once you have sent the statement, please contact our customer support teams so they can look into this for you. If you prefer you can contact us via Twitter @AskPayPal and/or our Facebook page and we will be also happy to assist. - Carlos
