Balance History Wrong

Hi,

From within my PayPal business account under transactions I can see balance history for the current month e.g. amount received in February.

Looking at this figure it is wrong. Or does it only count my balance in £? As I receive payments in both £ and $.

In the filter underneath I have "All Currencies" selected so not sure why this number does not reflect what I add up?

Thanks

Hi Jamiek47,

Thanks for posting!

As far as I'm aware, the balance history column will usually only show the balance you have availabe in your primary currency.

This would explain what you're seeing, as this figure wouldn't include the funds you have available in USD.

However, if you convert those USD's in GBP, those funds will be visible on your available balance almost instantly: http://ow.ly/JDJa6

I hope that helps Jamiek47 and please let us know if you've any further questions about this Smiley Happy

Thanks for clarifying Conor.

I don't really want to convert them as I often have to send Payments out in USD anyway.

I would lose money wouldn't I if I was to convert my USD to GBP then have to send from GBP to USD?

On my main dashboard it shows both GBP and USD as one number in USD and marks it as an approx with a * why don't PayPal do this for the balance history under transactions and the charts and graphs under transactions? It means I can't use those features 😕

Thanks,

Jamie
