Hi. I recently discovered that I inadvertently fell for an alleged scam over a payment that I cancelled over a year ago. but was taken again without My permission . The company told Me that if I closed the complaint the My money would be refunded. When I checked My PayPal account again it showed up as closed.Still no refund? Any ideas?

If you had to close a dispute to get a refund then it would be pointless having the dispute system in the first place wouldn't it.
You never close a dispute until you have a cleared refund or your item and if the seller does not refund (which would automatically close that dispute), then you would escalate to a claim.
