First time seller, did not expect to be charged with a fee when receiving payment from the buyer.
May I know how does the fee is calculated? So to prevent a loss in the future transaction.
By the way was charged with $10.42 out of $230.00.
Thanks!

Sorry but how do you think paypal makes money to pay its staff their wages?
Its not a charity and you pay them to provide you with a service of being able to receive instant payments from buyers (including from credit cards).
FEES are listed in the user agreement but in the UK its 3.4% plus 20p for UK to UK transactions. You would pay more if its an international transaction but you can read up on those yourself if you need to.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
