I applied for a pay pal credit card this past week. Today I recevived an e-mail that appeared to come from paypal. It said it had information on my new card. When I clicked on the link it brought me to a page. No paypal header just a plain page. It asked for my name, dob, and social security number. I know better then to give that information out but just as quick as it opened my anti-virus program closed the page on me.
Has anyone else gotten something similar? I did e-mail paypal about it to let them know. I know people are pretty smart not to give out out your ss number but just giving you all a heads up.
