paypal made wrong payment transaction

i recently purchased a phone, paypal said that they'd take funds from my paypal account and the rest from my bank account that i use in conjunction with paypal.

The correct money was in the bank and being transfered to paypal at the time.

paypal took a normal payment transaction using my card number and paypal account but then decided to also do a direct debit as well.

I have no idea why they have done this but now my bank is charging me because of paypal taking 2 lots of money, now i'm going round in circles trying to get some answers!!! if anyone has any ideas or help..it would be appreciated thanks:)!

Happens ALL THE TIME. Paypal is TERRIBLE at keeping these transactions straight.

It happen to me  SEVERAL times for MUCH bigger $. At one point, they took out almost $900 and then started charging ME for overdraft fees because they couldn't KEEP taking money out of the wrong account!

The only reason Paypal is still in business is because there isn't a viable competitor. PERIOD.

The minute one shows up, people will leave "Playpal" in droves!

I finally just had to close my account and report it to the credit agencies.

Paypal ended up keeping money they didn't deserve, and had the nerve to tell me I still owed them! HA!!!

What do you mean by

Who transfered it,you,  or was paypal debiting it for the payment.

What do you meant by this .

What card number.. more info is needed
