I am potentially selling a domain name to a Belgium buyer for US $2,500. Buyer wishes to utilize PayPal. I do not understand the fees that are associated with international transactions. Would someone tell me what I can expect for Paypal to take from the 2500 for fees?
Thank you - Ron

Hi Ron,
The standard PayPal fee for an international (cross-border) payment is 3.9% plus 30 cents. You will have a $73.10 fee for the $2,500.00 cross-border payment.
If a currency conversion is involved, there may be an additional 2.5% fee = 62.50 for a $2,500.00 payment.
Note... since PayPal's Seller Protection Policy requires that the item must be a physical, tangible good that can be shipped, your domain name payment will not be eligible for seller protection.
