payment status 'expired'

Hello, 

 

I have a transaction that i received a recipt for but my payment status reads as 'expired' can someone please let me know what that means please? i dont want to re-oder my goods again and run into the same problem, so want to be able to solve the problem where it lies (in Paypal, the Merchant or my bank/card details - as at the moment all seems ok? except teh order didnt go through or is pending..)

If it is an order you made in the past ,it would mean the Merchant failed to capture the authorisation for the payment and after 30 days this authorisation expires. Therefore the order is no longer valid. I would contact the merchant in this case.
