Valid thru date error

Hello, I am unable to  add a debit card to my account. I just created my PayPal account and I can't link my card to my account.

So when I decide to add a card i am asked if its a debit card or bank card. So I choose debit. So now I must enter the card number, expiration month and year, and CSC. When I try to type in the expiration month and year I can't do it. It either won't register any input or I can enter the first number of the month the it places a backslash  and wont let me fix it. 

Please and suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry to hear that you have been experiencing difficulties recently when trying to add a debit card to your PayPal account recently. 

Can you please try clearing your cache & cookies and then try this on a different browser to see if that helps? If not, can you please try contacting us directly via Twitter @AskPayPal or via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and we can look into this further for you.
