I paid the seller on Ebay and definitely switched from debit to credit card, the dot was in the circle when I pressed confirm and pay.
Checked Paypal a few hours later and the debit card had been debited.
Paypal said it would take a few weeks to sort out and I said it is costing me £1 a day overdraft fees.
So I credited the same seller with £140 with my credit card (plus £4.95 fee). And sent them 3 emails which they have not answered.
Paypal refuse to accept any responsibility. What are your views please? I have spoken to them twice now and all they say is to raise it with the credit card company
