Unauthorised Direct Debit

Hi

I've had a payment appear on my bank statement that I have no memory of making. The amount isn't reflected in any of my three PayPal accounts.

Is there a way for me to find out where this money has gone?!

Firstly THREE paypal accounts?? You are only allowed x2 and only then if x1 is business and the other x1 is personal.

If you have 2 or more of the same kind you risk them all being limited.

Secondly if you bought something online and paid with a debit or credit card then it would not show in your paypal account.
BUT the seller may have processed that card payment via their Paypal 'card reader' and so you would have paid as a paypal 'guest buyer' and it would not show in your paypal account BUT would show as Paypal on your bank or card statement.

Lastly if the above paragraph does not apply then your best bet is to phone customer services and report it as unauthorised.

I have two business accounts, and a personal account.

The problem I have is if I call customer services I can't link it to a PayPal account. Meanwhile my bank tells me to contact PayPal.
