Hello,
I have a problem.
Paypal has automatically created a Dispute/Claim agains a seller from which I have bought a service.
The service was fully delivered 100%. Everything was fine until this Dispute/Claim has appeared.
I have not created it I was using the service it is a one time pay. I was very happy with it it was exactly as described.
Why was a Dispute/Claim created?
I have recently been issued with a new credit card by my bank.
In the moment I used my new credit card the old one was canceled.
I have bought a few things trough paypal with the new card.
No dispute/claims were created for those services although the services that I have bought from other people were older than this one.
I have bought from the seller towards which the dispute/claim was created 2 services on feb 9 2015.
If I would of created a dispute/claim I would of created it towards bots services, but this is not the case.
Only one dispute/claim was created.
I did not ask for a refund in any way shape or form.
But on feb 28 2015 I have received an email that a dispute/claim was created by my account towards the seller.(I did not create it, it was a shock for me.)
I noticed that the card was not linked and confirmed, so the exact same day I have confirmed and linked my card so there would not exist any issues towards this misunderstanding.(feb 28)
I have sent an email to paypal onder the board disputes and claims.
If this issue is not solved I will personally contact them trough the phone.
I would like paypal to reverse its actions because the service that was promissed to me was 100% delivered.
I want paypal to NOT flag the sellers account for this matter and no repercussion taken towards him, if any must be taken it should be agains me.
Any opinions? Any help?

Can you not go to the resolution centre and close the dispute?

It sounds silly but the dispute escalated to a claim all by itself and the money was refunded to my bank account in the same day.
I tryed to cancel it many times and I have failed and after some research on the interwebs I discovered that the claim cannot be canceled.
The main problem with this situation is that it is solved.
I appreciate that paypal worked fast in this mater but still this is a huge error iniciated by paypal.
I have found a similar case

Well to sort it you could just pay the seller again???
Also why not contact customer services and find out why it happened in the first place?
Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Yes thank you for your help I will call them tomorrow and see what can be done.
The problem is not paying again the seller it is the fact that his account might get flagged.
If I received my refund now will the sellers account be flagged?
