Flights with Monarch - Paypal Protection ATOL CAA

Hi All,

I booked flights with Monarch in June for April 2018.  £1200 in total and used Paypal to pay.   Monarch has now gone into administration and the unhelpful CAA website is feeling very proud bringing 100k people back using 30 planes over the next few weeks.

I have read the CAA Monarch website to be told that there is no ATOL protection on flights booked. - surely this cannot be right?   How can you pick and choose ATOL protection?

Paypal must surely honour refunds to protect it's good name.  Will they be releasing a statement?

I am contacting them direct today but expect a fight to get my money back.

Maybe you should check that with your provider. The one paypal give to contact customer services - bottom of their website page (yes it's automated and you have to persist to get through to an agent) is s freephone (0800) number.
