I have ordered a canvas print through Fast Canvas Prints which has not been produced or delivered. The money has been taken from my Paypal account. I have tried contacting the company but with no success as the phone line leaves you on hold and then says there is no one to answer the call so leave a message. It then tells you that the voicemail box is full so you can't leave a message. I believe the company to be fraudulent even though I originally found the deal through KGB deals.
Is there anything I can do to get my money back through Paypal?
Thanks for your help.

I have had the same experience as the previous writer. I ordered my canvas with a Wowcher voucher on 1st December and to date 22nd December have not received it, I also tried ringing (with exactly the same experience as the previous writer) and have sent numerous emails with no response,. I have also been on Qype site to register along with others my complaint against this company, I am also going to contact Wowcher and BBC Watchdog as well. This canvas was my daughter's Christmas present to her father and now we will have to not only spend more money but find the time to get him a last minute present which won't obviously have the same impact or thought,

I too am in exactly the same situation.
I've tried ringing and emailing with no luck and have even sent an email threatening to contact trading standards with no result.
I have just ran a whois query on the website and it's registered to the following person:
Peter Toye

St Davids Grove
Edinburgh

United Kingdom
with 1& 1 Internet AG
I haven't tried contacting Peter Toye, but perhaps BBC Watchdog might like that information!
Let me know if you get anywhere.

Same here. Spent just over £300 on xmas presents with them, ordered a few canvases.
Has nothing from them apart form one email promising delivery a few weeks back and woo hooo it never arrived. Ive tried phoneing, sat in long phone cues only to get to front of cue and find nobody is available and mailbox full.
Stay clear of FASTcanvasprints because they are nto so fast.
Has anybody complained to watch dog. They recently advertsed on wowcher which is advertised on TV, milions of people watch TV so there must be thousands or people without their canvas.
IM SO UNHAPPY WITH HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that there are other people in the same boat as me.
I actually spoke to KGB deals yesterday from whom I bought the deal with Fast Canvas Prints. They said that there had been a number of complaints about Fast Canvas, no surprise there. The guy I spoke to said that they had contaccted Fast Canvas prints and been told that all orders have been sent out this week but are unlikley to arrive in time for Christmas. He apologised for the delay and if the orders had not arrived by early 2012 to contact them again to look into ways of refunding the purchase.
This really doesn't help with any Christmas presents but it seems like KGB may be able to help get money back if the canvas doesnt arrive, which I don't expect it to.
My suggestion would be to contact the people you bought the deal through and start there. Then if anyone is complaining to the OFT or watchdog then post any links here and we can all complain together.
Some people truly are con artists who deserve punishment.

I ordered mine at the beginning of December through Gumtree Deals and paid via paypal etc......Still nothing. Heard nothing, cannot get through, opened paypal disputes, but nothing.
Taking things into my own hands I too checked the WHOIS details and found Peter Toye is the owner. On closer inspection, I found his Twitter feed. Seems prolific on there, but cannot respond to a single one of my emails. Check it out for yourselves:-

My next step will be one man campaign for my money and then an apology as neither gumtree or Paypal seem to have any teeth.
