Do the statements on the dispute comment box really important?

Hello.

I actually filed a dispute and escalated it to a claim. I'm just wondering because today is the 11th day and I'm not getting any update yet from either the seller and Paypal. I remember putting only "I haven't received the item yet and I think we (the seller and I) will never come up to an amicable resolution." I'm just thinking perhaps the reason of non update is because I only typed in a few words in the box. I hope you could help me with my inquiry. Thank you so much.......
