Claim gone past contact date?

I opened a claim on the 12th and escalated to paypal on the 18th of May regarding an item that I received a package for but didn't have the item inside I was expecting and instead was gone. I was asked to make an actionfraud report, which I did, and now it says

We'll contact you with any developments or if we require additional information from you by 5 Jun 2017.
Well, it's the 9th of June and still no email regarding my claim has been sent? Should I call up and see whats going on or is there an email I can send a message to that would explain the situation? Thanks

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
