Charges

Hi,

I do hope that someone can explain why I have got two charges on my account from a 'Pitney Bowes Inc.'

Who are they and what are they charging me for - or is it a scam?

I have purchase items from USA and Australia and usually the charges for customs and postage etc. are

all charged on my order summary.

I don't understand! Help please.

No seller can charge you customs fees as that fee is levied by the taxman within your own country.

Also no seller would know the customs charges of every other country in the world.

When you import items into your country then you pay a customs fee (if one is levied) but to save you paying the postie or going to the post office to collect and pay Ebay UK arrange for that fee to be taken out by pitney bowes direct so the item is delivered straight to you.
