I'm really upest and cofused right now about this whole thing was hoping maybe someone could shed some light on this issue. Earlier this month someone made an attempt to access my paypal account (At the same time someone stole into my xbox account as well but that is another issue). When I logged into my account to check a recent Ebay purchase I made I noticed a flag on my account saying it was limited. Upon learning that I went throught the notions and changed my questions/ password. I checked up on it a few times that week just to make sure that nothing else happened and all seemed fine.
This morning I get an email saying that eBay International AG has withdrawn nearly $70 from my account. I logged into my paypal to check because I know that sometimes those emails can be a scam and sure enough it was there on my transaction history along with a transaction on the 12th saying I recieved money and had a disputed filed over an ebay item I apperently sold (I never recieved any emails about this before today btw). I am only a buyer on ebay not a seller, I have never sold even 1 item. I filed a dispute about this and have again, changed my info and have run antivirus and malware programs but so far so clean. But the part that confuses me the most about this is the fact my ebay account doesn't even have a record of this at all. No items sold no messages of any kind. I have also changed my log in there but I can't help but feel completely confused about this. I would have thought my ebay account would show something like that but there is nada. has this happened to anyone else? I just really hope they get to the bottom of this...
