I recently purchased a virtual item & I have purchased many virtual items before & didnt like them and got a return with no problem using clickbank. However, my last virtual product purchase was through a private vendor & came with a 90 day return policy, for which I even have an e-mail directly from the seller, where he states that I have a 90 day money back agreement with him/them and yet Paypal refuses to refund my money & I was only 7 days into the purchase...
This is a bogus attempt by paypal to protect my rights and paypal refuses to go the extra step & contact the seller via outside sources, if they have to, to confirm what my e-mail from the sellers states. Even if Paypal has to have somebody call or e-mail the seller asking about their 90 day return policy and Paypla won't do it. I feel I have the right to my $200. refund, as per what is very clear in my e-mail history chain of communications with the seller & paypal refuses to refund my money, even when we all know that all virtual priducts these days come with a minimum of 30 day money back policy...So, how can i get Paypal to at least have a special contact person, pose as a buyer and just ask this scammer, what his return policy is for virtual goods and accept my e-mail history, I can forward to them directly...as proof that I should get my money back, as promised by the seller.
What can I do to make Paypal see the obivious & dig deeper because this is a scammer and a thief that Paypal is siding with and it can be proved very easily and paypal won't do it and would rather side with this thief and scammer - I am considering taking it to my national tv station for more exposure and a fair resolution & further investigation into Paypals lacks of action and siding with a liar, scammer and thief...
Thanks Very Much,
Hopdog

Hello
This is regard to my claim #1AC76241CE7286113.
You have informed me that in order to get a $42.68 refund on this transaction that I have to send the item back to the vendor, with tracking. I have some issues with this policy.
#1- this guy was a crook, thief, and a con man. The device he sent was NOT a 256GB flash drive but a 1GB device engineered to look like the product advertised. It had a program on the chip that showed the properties of a 256 GB flash drive and if you put data on it would allow you to retrieve it but as soon as you got to 80MB it just kicked out the first in and still showed you loading as if it was a 256GB flash drive, clearly premeditated felony.
#2-You insist that I send this counterfeit token back to an address in China that in all probability is nothing but a blind drop. With tracking the cost to send this $42.68 item back to this postal black hole is $41.57.
#3- I believe with all the resources that such a successful company as you are and all the savvy that international con organizations have that the proximity of the con's price point and the "catch 22" tracking return price cannot possibly be coincidence.
I cannot but have a grudging respect for the con mans plan, to settle for a price much lower than what he could possibly get in order to be able to walk away without even having a bad report from the business that facilitated the con. They live to put different clothes on the pony and run it again and again. It is elegant, don't you think, a bit like skimming 1/100 of a percent and if the system lets you get away every time it adds up huge.
You should check to make sure someone on your side wasn't the guy that came up with this idea.
Have a nice day
