I'm so aggravated at the way paypal handled this.
Be warned people!
I am currently unemployed (Combat Vet and resent College Grad) and selling items on ebay to pay off bills.
Item sells on the bay for $405 going overseas to Australia. Shipping is $179.00 23lb box.
Some how the USPS Lost it! The 24X24X24 box didn't even leave the state it was Pennsylvania Pittsburgh. It made it from my town to Pitt then nothing that was the last scan! The last tracking info was still recorded in the state so it never even left the United States even if it did leave Pittsburgh. It would have had to go to California or something.
The buyer opened a dispute and because the tracking didn't not show it as delivered paypal refunded him all $584.00.
Now the buyer waited for a month to see if it would show up and it never showed up I fully believe it is lost or was stolen.
I do not blame him he did what I would do. But I am angry at how fast they refunded the money before the USPS investigation could even try to find the package. I was still awaiting the investigation from the Australian post office when the money was taken from my account.
This was over a month ago and I am still awaiting my claim with the Post office!
I appreciate the fact that (Myself) the seller did everything I am required to but still got **bleep**ed by paypal I mean really whats $579.00 to paypal??
Since it is taking the post office so long with this I'm sure my claim will be denied for the value of the item.
What I would like is for paypal to wait on the shipping agencys to do their investigations before you give a buyer their money back so **bleep** fast!
Now what I really want is for Paypal to stop blowing up my phone expecting me to pay back this cash right away!

You have made plenty of money off of me over the years via paypal and then ebay when ebay bought paypal. the $400 buck I owe you will be paid when I can pay it perhaps after the USPS awards me my claim that can take over 75 days to process!
All I can say is I am done with paypal you have made your last monies off of my transactions!
6 years ago I sent a guy $1500.00 USD you took $15 dollars out of it.
I just had a guy send me $250 the other day and you took $15 dollars out of it WTF is that??
I hope you crash and burn in whatever you buy with my money.
