I opened a case with Papal where I bought virtual money for a game (yep I broke game rules) and it was never delivered. No email response from the vendor and PayPal closed it in 1 day, saying the vendor said they delivered the items and that they can do nothing since they are intangible and virtual I was never warned that when I purchased said items they were NOT guaranteed. SO they take the word of some scumbag over me and then close the dispute so that I can do nothing more than come here and vent. I am lead to believe that Paypal must be working with vendors like this so they to can make money on these purchases and never have to pay out anything. NEXT time I use my credit card so I can work with them and paypal can put the dispute where the sun doesn't shine.
I also have no way to respond since the case was closed the the automated denial email has no response.
Class action suit in the making here all.

Yes you were - it EXPLICITLY states in the Paypal Use agreement that Paypal does not provide any buyer protection for virtual goods.

Not going to argue the fact that the seller is a scambag - that's pretty obvious.
But Paypal didn't take his word for anything - you just got caught in the rules because you didn't read them.

That's silly.

As you ALWAYS should on the internet, even when buying under Paypal protection. At best, it gives you an extra layer of protection, at worst, it can save your butt.
