Pretty much what the title says, I want to know how long a buyer can be able to open a dispute if they never get an item, NO, I am not a scammer. I just sell a lot of things online and I get scammed frequently and I found someone I trust and its been about 20 days and he hasn't opened a dispute yet... 🙂 So I really just want to know how long can someone wait to open a dispute if you don't ship an item??? Thanks!

Lithium5- We would never think you were a scammer; that's a perfectly legitimate question!
A buyer only has 45 days from the purchase date to file a dispute with PayPal. Outside of PayPal though, if they choose to dispute with their funding source, they can actually file for up to around 180 days.
Hope this answers your question!
