Complicated Resolution...Now What?

Buyer purchased a ring from me.  She said actual ring looked smaller than in picture.  (There are never less than 3 identical rings being sold at the same time.) Even though I do not accept returns, she was such a PITA that I agreed to return her money less the Ebay fees, Paypal fees and a 20% restocking fee.  I received the ring back today but Paypal is still holding the money from the sale.  How do I get PayPal to release the funds so that I can give customer her refund?

can you go and resolve thecase as 'yes I have recived shipping' or smtg of that sort?

then refund will be made.

Since PayPal is holding my money and buyer's money, I've asked buyer on several occasion to please just mark item "as received."  I think that will solve the problem and then I can send her her partial refund.   So here I sit in limbo for over a month. 

My husband said we should start a class-action suit against ebay/paypal for holding onto our money but I don't have the energy.  Just want my money!!!

I am 67 years old and have been a seller on Ebay for 14 years My feedback is almost 17000 and I have a 99% positive rating ... Yesterday Ebay put me on food stamps ...They suddenly began holding up money on my Pay Pal account and De listed almost 600 of my listings ..This all done without so much as a phone call or email ...I am now out of business and 4 of my employees are also out of business ...I needed the money I have earned on Ebay to survive ...THE REASON I WAS TOLD AFTER WAITING 31 ON HOLD ON THE PHONE WAS THAT MY DSR ON THE SUBJECT OF "ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED " WAS TOO HIGH... i WAS TOLD I CAN'T APPEAL I HAVE BEEN TERMINATED END OF STORY ...I NEED HELP I HAVE SPENT 14 YEARS TO BUILD MY BUSINESS THEY TOOK IT IN A FEW HOURS ...ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.. Hello All...

I am happy to hear you were working directly with the buyer and despite what your auction listing stated of no returns, you had the buyer return the merchandise to you.  Since there are different types of holds that can be placed on account, I would like to get additional information from you to better assist you with your issue.

Is the hold that was placed on your transaction for a PayPal dispute, eBay dispute, or are we holding the funds until you provide us tracking information confirming that the merchandise was delivered.

If you have a hold placed on funds that is not associated with a PayPal/eBay dispute, PayPal can release those holds after it has been 3 days since the merchandise was delivered to the buyer.
