I've just lodged a complaint against Paypal who refuse to give me a copy of transaction data from a closed account. When I first made the request, they said I could get the data and just had to ask them in wiriting, which I did, now 2 weeks and 4 phone call later they said today, they will not be able to give it to me, as its against their T&C's. I've asked for a copy of their T&C's and where it says it cannot be provided, and just waiting to hear from them.
Surely it is my right to access my data?
I've had a look through all their policies and can't see anything on this, anyone else heard of this? I am UK based and told them I would contact the FOS if they could not provide me with policy proof this is the case.
