hi guys  

pay pal has requested some more information from me in relation to my identity ie proof of address and proof of id and i now sent that to them today but my ac is limited i want to know if i can still receive funds from buyers while they check the information that they have requested

Depends on type of limitation, your best bet is to ask them?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
