I’m typing out a timeline of the exact events that took placed leading up to this point. On 1st Aug I told my friends that I was unemployed and would be needing some financial aid to tide over the pandemic as I recently lost my job. (I can provide my retrenchment letter) Hence, I offered them digital art services where I’ll draw their personal photos in exchange for money. The photos I drew for them were usually their family portraits, pets, couple pictures. None of which are illegal and against Paypal’s user agreements. Subsequently when I tried to withdraw the money to my bank account I was met with an error alert countless amounts of times. Paypal then proceeded to “temporarily limit my access to my account” and requested for documents such as my NRIC, Bank statement & an explanation on account activity which I complied to and provided them with. However on 4th August, Paypal emailed me stating that my account can no longer be used and they will be holding my funds for 180 days. This is really absurd and unbelievable, I have complied with each of their requests and am legitimate.
