Why does my dispute resolve estimation date keep increasing?

I opened a dispute on oaypal as I was scammed £70 as the seller hasnt shipped the item to me. It was supposed to be resolved today after it being under review for the past week but now the estimation date has jumped to the 26th.

If seller hasn't shipped and if seller is located in a country that logistically takes a long time for delivery, PayPal could have extended the time for that or the seller requested more time to get the item to you. You can always call customer service to get a definite reason for the extension:
Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.
