Hello,
We're a HK based business with a substantial monthly transactions volume.
Yesterday, we received the following message:
=========================
"Thank you for choosing PayPal.
We appreciate the fact that you chose PayPal to send and receive payments for your transactions.
A recent review of your account activity, it has been determined that you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy regarding your transactions.
Please refer to:
- Transaction ###############
- Transaction ###############
Please remove the items noted above from your website to comply with PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy.
The complete Acceptable Use Policy can be found by clicking Legal at the bottom of any page of our website and selecting PayPal Acceptable Use Policy.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. "
==========================
We checked these transactions and we noticed that some of our clients have filled the order form with keywords like "CBD" (a very small % of transaction), so that's probably the reason.
Our account isn't limited and this message looks like we're just prompted to take action.
However, we also received the following email:
===========================
Title: We're initiating closure of your PayPal account
After a thorough review of your account, we're initiating the closure of your PayPal account in order to protect us from potential financial losses. You'll no longer be able to use PayPal account.
===========================
PayPal's support aren't responding and it's not clear if our account is really permanently getting closed, or if we can actually do something about it.
Can anyone assist?
