Unauthorised transaction

Hi there, on the 29th of August I created an invoice for buyer, who bought my product (mission files for gaming server), after he paid he received a download link to the files and we parted ways, today (almost a month later) he created a transaction issue titled "Unauthorised transaction" and claims back all the money he paid. Trust me, this is a common practice, thinking he will get his money back and still keep my work I sold him, and I had the idea at the back of my head that he may try this, that's why I thought to make it more "official" I went for the invoice instead of send money to friends or something. My question is can I feel safe? Will paypal spot that this is an obvious scam attempt? Maybe something I can do to speed up the process of resolving this?

An unauthorised transaction means that an account holders Paypal account was hacked and used without their consent by your ?buyer.
If Paypal check IP addresses etc and find in favour of the account holder then of course they are reimbursed.

However you would not lose out either as long as you met ALL the requirements of seller protection, BUT you have no seller protection for virtual items.

Secondly......

Its against Paypal rules to accept a family / friends payment for selling goods and can lead to your Paypal account being limited.
A buyer would not be able to open a Paypal dispute for 'non-receipt' OR 'not as described' as they would have no Paypal buyer protection.
However they can still open an 'unauthorised transaction' OR do a 'chargeback' (if they funded that Paypal payment via their credit card) and you would probably lose as you would have no Paypal seller protection because you accepted payment that way.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
