Unable to update SSN

Paypal decided to limit my account, so i jumped through the hoops to restore my access, which includes confirming my SSN. However, when i click "Resolve", it takes me to my profile, and after i click "update" next to my SSN (and do so), nothing happens. Nothing changes, the limitations stay in place, and this is the case no matter how many times i try to go in and update my SSN. If i go back to the Restore Account page, it still has a big blue, "Resolve" button next to "confirm social security number".

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear about the limitation. If there's already a SSN on the account, you would not be able to change the number. If there's no number there, you should be able to add one. If you're unable to add a number or you need to change the number that's on file, please contact customer service for assistance. Make sure that you do not disclose your SSN via any social media channels or by email.
