Unable to respond to PayPal asking for additional information on a claim.

I had to escalate a claim last week as the seller was going back and forth offering silly amounts and delaying the claim. I then escalated my claim to PayPal. A couple days later I got an email from PayPal that I needed to respond to the seller's offer of £7 (they owed me over £38). When I went out to the resolution center and tried to upload the response I just get a red diamond in the middle of the screen and Please try again - we're sorry, something went wrong and return to resolution center. I have tried to submit the response several times each day for three days now with the same error messages. I have also tried to message PayPal directly about the problem for the past two days but getting no response from them. Has anyone else had these problems? If so what did you do to get a resolution? Thank you.

Hi, this is happening to me too. I've been trying to respond in a dispute since yesterday and have the exact same thing happening to me. I tried to message someone in the resolution help center but it was not a live person. My case will close if I don't respond by tomorrow. This is really not fair.

Yes I understand. I have been trying to give a response and/or contact PayPal for four days now and have had no success. Just when I think I've got a human on the line or in massager, I realize I'm only in an automated response system and is of no help to me. I am quite discouraged to say the least.

I tried for five days straight - multiple times a day - to get in contact with a real person with no avail. I finally went out on PayPal's Facebook page and posted the problem. I was then finally instructed how to get past the automated responses and actually get some help. I'm still pretty disgusted that I had to spend all that time just trying to get some help - but I "think" they have taken care of the problem.

I have the exact same issue please could you help me I'm about to lose a case and i need the money for bills, i am right he did send me fake shoes and i can prove it but it won't let me respond

I finally went to PayPal's facebook page and posted my problem as well as sent them a message about the problem. I finally got some help there. Good Luck.
