Should I freeze my checking account associated with PayPal

Hello all!

 

I had fraudulent charges via my PayPal account this morning (PayPal is handling), but should I freeze/cancel my checking account that is attached to my PayPal? Was the thief able to retrieve my checking account information from PayPal?
