Sent money to an unused account

Hi there, I have found out earlier that i've sent money to an account which is being unused and the user no longer uses the email which is connected to the paypal account. Is there any way I can retrieve the money back

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending / Unclaimed.
2. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Completed / Sent.
4. Pending / Uncleared.
5. Pending awaiting authorisation.

Hi, in the 'Activity' tab its labelled under 'completed'

Then the only option you have is to open a dispute for non receipt of item against that email address and as there are no goods to send you should get a refund.
