Hi I went to buy something today off someone through Facebook (computer part) that cost quite a large amount of money and the minuite it was sent which I sent it as buying a product to ensure I had protection I was told by the seller he wasnt even going to send the product then 5 mins later he put it as sent on the paypal transaction I file a dispute and 10 mins later paypal says I'm not covered what should I do ? Do I contact my bank to try and get the money from paypal or do I contact paypal in the morning on the phone and try and give them another go at sorting it ?

Seems like you filed unauthorized transaction dispute which you only do when someone breached your account, not because you paid a scammer. Your best bet is to reach out to customer service to change the case to Item Not Received.
Hit the bell icon in your account or try Facebook/Twitter, or
- Go to: https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
- Click Disputes and account limitations
- Click Disputes
- Click Dispute a payment
- Click Message Us or Call Us after the “This information might help” box
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
