I got scammed and PayPal found in favor of the scammer. I explain to PayPal that I did not receive the item that was advertised and they found in favor of the seller and are refusing to give my money back. I tried to appeal the decision using the instructions from PayPal and there was no way for me to appeal their decision so what do I do? Do I just let PayPal and the seller keep my money?
So the problem was the seller sent an item that was different from what they advertised. They admitted to making a mistake and offered 20% of my money back or 100% if I mail the item back to China. This was all unacceptable to me because I was not the one that made the mistake. Plus they sent the item from New York not from China. I truly believe they were trying to scam me and I finally found somebody at PayPal to agree with me and I got a full refund.
