When I logged onto my PayPal account this morning, there was an unauthorized charge for $97. It said Brian Franze and it was for a car rental. I disputed the transaction. Not even 5 minutes later I get an email from PayPal stating that the seller had put tracking info in. Well first its for a car rental, not its for something I supposedly purchased?? Red flag #1 PayPal.. So I click the tracking info and it says it was delivered to my address on May 26th. How is that possible when the order is for June 1st? How could I possibly have something delivered before I even supposedly ordered it? Red flag #2.. It also states the shipping label was made on May 9th but it didn't ship until May 21st.. what company makes a shipping label but doesn't ship the item? Red flag #3. Then I see that the amount went from $97 to $111.55 but no taxes or shipping! Red flag #4.. Come on PayPal!! I tried messaging someone for more help, I got no help of course except that they have to look into it. Emailed this "seller" of course no response. Then I get an email this evening stating that PayPal found it was not unauthorized and I will NOT be getting my money back. This is ridiculous! I have used PayPal for 16 years and never had a problem. Now that I do, I am not being help! You really are not protected and after reading stories on here and on google, I am really starting to think PayPal wants its customers to get scammed OR are the ones doing the scamming. They know the loopholes. But anyone with common sense would see this is a scam and something I did not authorize. Of course I can't even call anyone at PayPal right now. I desperately need some help!! I am going to contact the post office tomorrow and see what they can tell me but they aren't the most helpful people either and even if they can give me some kind of info, Im sure its not going to help. I don't even know how to appeal this decision from PayPal. No where on my resolutions page does it give me the option to appeal. I will never use PayPal again.

Just call hour bank & tell them you got scammed ! They should return your $$ in 10 days. I do it all the time. Don´t waste your time with Paypalor calling them . Nobody is working at any offices ( COVID - 19 ) to answer the phones ! And if you try contacting them through either the help or resoluton center . all you get from them is a PC generated Email that is all " mumbo jumbo . " Hope this helps- Until next time . Over & out .
