Scamed by a company claiming to be PayPal

I was scammed out of a lot of money by a company that said it was PayPal.  I called the 1st number that showed up on my browser when I was trying to deposit money to my account and they told me to purchase Google Play gift cards and to provide them with the numbers on the cards and they would deposit them to my PayPal account.  They had account information and even provided a text authorization code stating they were Paypal.  I still have one out of 3 of the Google Play Gift cards that I did not provide the number to them for that I would like a refund for.  I would like PayPal assistance with this since my PayPal account was hacked and scammed.  I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.  Please contact me for more information.

Nothing to do with paypal as you did not contact customer services.

That is why you should NEVER google for a paypal number OR phone a number that scammers post on this forum.

Most get removed as soon as reported but try to bypass paypal security by posting the numbers in an odd format.

That is why you can't post tel numbers on here, the ONLY WAY to get paypals correct number is by clicking on help / contact bottom of paypal pages and scrolling down to the call us option.

Why on earth would paypal want you to purchase itune vouchers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You were scammed by a fake number so why on earth would paypal refund you?
