Hello x I sold a bag on depop 4 months ago and the buyer opened a dispute saying the bag was fake I didn’t get the emails and now see the money has been refunded but the item has not been returned... basically I have been scammed and the depop account has been deleted He even left me a 5 star review for the purchase Is there anything I can do to reverse this 😞 Thank you x

A buyer has up to 180 days to open a Paypal dispute.
Normally if its an 'item received but not as described' dispute then the buyer is told to return the item back to the seller (trackable to prove delivery) before a refund is credited.
BUT that only occurs if the seller 'respond' to the dispute. As you didn't appear to respond then Paypal would just refund the buyer.
Your best bet is to go read up on Paypals seller protection policy so you are not caught out next time.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
