hi. how long does this temporary hold last? i updated my photo ID a few hours ago and have not received an email.
please tell me how long it will take to activate my account?

Can take up to a few weeks dependent on how busy they are and when its your turn in the queue, you could always phone for an update?
Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
