Receipt for an unauthorized payment-email fraud

How would I go about reporting an email I received for a payment approved if it does not show up in my paypal account. The email is as follows:

Do not press the “cancel order” button. It will ask for your ID and password. Do not enter it is a scam to get that information. If you have already done so, change your password on Paypal.com

I got the same email today. The email address it came from does not look legit at all. I don’t know if it’s some kind of setup if I hit the Cancel order button. The address it came from was a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers.

I agree, I hit the cancel order button & the website it’s trying to pull up is not legit so I got out of it quick. Hopefully nothing happens from that click

I did hit the "cancel order" button, but I also went to my Paypal account (which I do not keep money in) and then I checked my checking account, there IS NO SUCH TRANSACTION on my checking account. SCAM ALERT.

I just received same email date dec 12 6pm but i in am in est time so seems to be from out of country I am watching my acct but was hesitant to cx from email

Recibí correo electrónico para un pago no autorizado, es un correo electrónico fraudulento y robo de identidad, no tengo pagos automáticamente para realizar, favor de verificar y cancelar esa transacción, ya muchas personas lo han reportado y es alarmante que esto esté sucediendo cuando PayPal es considerado como seguro y confiable para realizar cualquier tipo de transacción, me preocupa mucho esta situación, favor de tomar medidas de seguridad.

I got the email today. Frustrating as no only is it untrue, I can't reach anyone at PayPal; and from the looks of it no one else can it has either. Did anyone actually have funds taken from their checking account?
