Question about refunds

So I was scammed yesterday out of £480, but paypal refunded me. This morning I woke up to a text saying I was in my overdraft on a card. I checked paypal, and my transactions were:

- £480 (the scam)

+ £480 (the refund)

- £480 (from my account, does not say where to).

What is going on? Should I be worried?

Hello @skuxlyfe,

Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.

I am sorry for what has happened. If you have not authorized any transaction on the account, you can certainly report it right away by following the steps mentioned in this article. Since you were refunded and again have the funds deducted, I would recommend you reaching out to our customer support team through the options available on our website so that our advisors can look into your account and help you accordingly.

I hope this helps.

Ayesha
