Following a chargeback, in which paypal sided with the card issuer, despite me being able to prove it was a legitimate ebay sale and I could prove it was posted and received, my GBP account ended up in arrears. I refused to top up the account. Paypal then put a debt collector onto me. Paypal then decided they would help themselves to an amount which was in USD in my account and convert it to GBP to clear the negative balance. A completely unauthorised transaction. The transaction is showing as completed, yet the GBP remains in arrears, so they have taken that money too!!
