Paypal asked me for more info due to the 26th June legistalion and now my account is blocked

When I click the red bell for the fix the problem it takes me to a page that says cannot get policy compliance

I was on the phone (on hold for an hour) to paypal customer service yesterday to be told that it was a known problem and she will escalate it and it should be resolved.. no clue as to when.

Hi Dibs2,

I had this issue too. I thought it was to do with the 26th June changes but doesn't appear to be so.

I called customer support and was told that my account was waiting for identifying info:

• Photo ID (driver's license/passport)
• Proof of address (utility bill from past 12mo)

I was able to upload the documents to the page paypal.com/uploaddocuments and the rep re-activated my account while still on the phone. It would be best to have photos of your documents ready before making the call.

The call lasted about 1hr with about 45 mins of that being hold time.
