PayPal's autoresponse is infuriating! The only way to interact with a human being is via telephone.

All of my written messages to PayPal, including those where I attached screenshots and photos as evidence regarding my dispute, have been met with an autoresponse that does NOT address the content of my message or my arrachments. No matter what I write in my messages, it's met with the same autoresponse. And the autoresponse includes a statement that if I don't find the response helpful, I should "send a message". And when I send a message in response to that autoresponse, guess what happens: I get the SAME nonresponsive autoresponse. What a joke and a waste of time. No wonder PayPal is requiring that I return, at my expenpense (which is $72--turns out the seller is in Vietnam-- a defective item that is very, very different from the one I ordered and happens to be counterfeit. They never bothered to read my messages or look at the evidence I presented!!!!!! PayPal is a huge disappointment.

You're kidding me, right? Every single time I've sent a private message on Facebook I've been met with an auto response of "I don't understand". If PayPal really wants to help right their wrong, please have an actual human being call me. You folks have my phone number. My name is Adrienne Statfeld.

Your "chat" option is also an autoresponse! "Chat" usually refers to a communication with a human being. PayPal's "chat" option is one more way to get a useless autoresponse. I find it hard to believe that a moderator is not well aware of this. I need an actual human being to look at and consider my evidence and reopen my dispute. PayPal decided in my favor. What a joke! All I have to do is send the defective piece of garbage (not what I ordered) to the seller who it turns out is not located in New York which his website states but, instead, is located in Vietnam. For $72, I can return the piece of garbage and get a refund of $69. Super duper!!!!!!

Yes, by selecting the chat option you will be passed through to an agent who will be able to assist you.
