Hi I've been with PayPal for 4 years and two and a half weeks now I had fun sent to me as family friends PayPal requested me to send information I sent to my passport over 10 times there shouldn't be a whole day hold my account for the funds for the family friends for round two grand then it has someone I sent sold a transmission so we sent 2500 they put that on hold and I sent all the requirements that I sent the the seller set up a pickup but at the same time I feel like PayPal is running a scam after I sent all the information after the 10 time yesterday at 6:00 after I spoke to them they said everything will be taken care of it sent me something oh we're going to have we don't want to do business with you no more we closing your account but you have to wait 180 days for your funds two baby be released I finally say s nonsense unethical violate my rights I think we should be filing suits against PayPal civil lawsuits they pulling this nonsense on people I'm not new to PayPal so this shouldn't be happening then they're going to close your account so that you can't do nothing and nothing else could be done who's going to wait 180 days for 4,000 4500 exactly to be on hold 6 months from now this is ridiculous please somebody tell me what should I do

If you are using the friends/family option for buying or selling then to be honest not surprised you are being banned.

Its totally against their rules to use the gift payment option for purchases or sales.

That way you are evading paying any fees and losing buyer or seller protection.

If you are banned then no it does not violate your rights as you have broken paypals user agreement that you agreed to when you opened your paypal account.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Sorry first of all I haven't sent anything else family friends first of all it was sent as goods and they put a limitation secondly it does violate your rights after you completed they tell you seven days the next minute 21 days the next minute they come up with some nonsense or maybe somebody in the back off and made a mistake messed up but I have to buy like anything thirdly PayPal is full of crap so if you on board with them or well maybe you work with them but it's nonsense I never had any problem any issues they sit here randomly picked on certain people and PayPal using all types of knots in these days which is unconstitutional not fair for customers we are paying them okay so I understand but the same time is bull crap. People now need to get on board should be doing class action lawsuits getting paid power too much power than not the bank they have no right to hold somebody funds that's why they have your information on card not to hold your funds but have information or buyer say they haven't received a good that's a different story.

First, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as this is the only way to get any kind of response out of PayPal. After that, I'd recommend filing an additional complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - use the category "Money transfer, virtual currency, or money service > Mobile or digital wallet."

Depending on how much you trust PayPal to actually return your money in a timely manner (and I don't), you might wish to engage an arbitration service like FairShake to get your money out.
