Folks, I have always been a Paypal supporter. However, I had a problem with Appypie. Do not let Appypie have payment approval. They will ask. Twice when I upgraded from them they double charged me. Once for my regular monthly then for the upgrade also. Well, after lots and lots of excuses I got a refund from Paypal for the first time $65). But, when I upgraded again I ASKED Appypie to be sure not to double charge me. They assured me they would not. So, the $450 charge for the upgrade came in within an hour. An hour later the charge came in for my regular monthly ($200). Well, to be SURE it would not happen I copied the chat with the sales man that said it WOULD NOT happen. I could not get a refund so I opened a dispute. I sent the explanation to Paypal. Then I send the CHAT transcript. The chat says they would not charge me. then a second chat says THEY (Appypie) made a mistake and will REFUND the $200. Paypal refunded my money. TWO MONTHS later Paypal reversed the money with NO explanation! Appypie still says it was a mistake but i have to wait another month for them to look into it. EVERYONE admits I should not have been charged but Paypal took the money out anyway? Of course, no way to ask why? Very disappointed. No explanation. No way to appeal. Two months and as far as I can see Appypie never even responded? Any insights?
