I was having computer issues last winter and called the old mircosoft number that I had - I can't remember but think I left a message and the next thing I know I am getting a call from someone claiming to be in their security department. He tells me it will only cost me $97.99 to fix the problem. I am desperate and take the bate. He says this will be good for 1 year and will fix all my problems. I then discover that the real Mircosoft never calls you but you can go on to the website/and community for help. I explain to them what occured and they tell me you have been scammed. I contact Paypal and provide them with the emails from the REAL mircosoft and paypal has denied my claim and I am out 97.99. Has anyone else had this experience and how did you resolve. I have contacted Paypal again but no response as yet.
