My account got hacked and money stolen. Then they deleted my Paypal account.

Basically, they got my gmail and added paypal to spam list, I guess so that I don't see them trying to get my Paypal password or something. They got my paypal account and made a transaction using my card that was linked to paypal. Then they deleted my paypal account. I had to create a new account using the same email, but obviously previous transactions don't exist in this new account. What do I do? Trying to get to paypal support, but they are not fast to respond.

my account got hacked and purchased something and then once I tried to log in the account is closed already then I had to make a new account now 

please assist me to get the money I lost cause I'm still a student.
